Talk To The Stars is operated under Pearmantra Innovations - Pearmantra Music - Talk To The Stars. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you register, use artist chats or contact us.
We process the display name and email address you provide, account authentication information, chat messages, account activity, message usage counts, email preferences and administrative records necessary to run the service. Please do not include sensitive information in your chats.
We use this information to operate and secure accounts, generate artist-chat responses, apply the website-wide daily message allowance, respond to enquiries, manage account inactivity and maintain necessary service records. Optional promotional emails are controlled by your choice in My Account; necessary service notices are separate.
Depending on the purpose, we rely on providing the requested service (contract), complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in keeping the platform secure and functioning, or your consent for optional promotional emails. You can withdraw marketing consent in My Account.
Chat messages are processed using third-party AI services to generate replies. Hosting, database and other technical providers also process information as needed to deliver the platform. Some processing may take place outside the UK, subject to applicable data-protection safeguards. Do not share passwords, payment details or another person's private information in artist chats. Artist responses are AI-generated.
We keep information while it is needed to operate the service and for applicable legal, security or administrative reasons. After six months without chat activity, we may send a promotional re-engagement email only if you have opted in. After twelve months without chat activity, we may send a final account-service notice with a 30-day potential deletion deadline starting when that notice is actually sent. Logging in during that period starts a seven-day opportunity to send a qualifying chat message; any active grace period is honoured even if it extends beyond the original deadline. A qualifying chat cancels pending deletion; logging in alone does not. Account deletion is never automatic and requires administrator approval.
Under applicable UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to processing, and obtain data portability in relevant circumstances. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
